A Lifetime of Medical Education & Specialist Training – Dr Irfan Mian
Dr Irfan Mian began his academic journey by completing 10 O'Levels and 4 A'Levels before being invited in 1967 to study combined Medical and Dental Degrees at the University of London. He qualified with a BDS, LDS, MB BS, LRCP and MRCS before gaining further qualifications in the USA, including the National Certificate in Dental Surgery and ECFMG certification. He later became a Member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (UK), completed postgraduate research at King's College Hospital, and gained advanced certifications in facial aesthetics, mesotherapy, thread lifting, anti-ageing medicine, body contouring, facial anatomy and aesthetic medicine across the UK, France, Europe and the United States.
Clinical Excellence, Innovation & International Recognition
​Dr Mian has held senior clinical positions in oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthopaedics, general medicine, cardiac medicine, and accident and emergency, and served on a Cardiac Arrest Team. He was also a tutor at King's College Hospital, Area Surgeon and Doctor in Charge for St John's Ambulance, and Doctor in Charge of the Royal Household, including Her Majesty The Queen. Internationally recognised as a trainer and speaker, he has presented at FACE, Aesthetic Medicine Conference London and MINT Worldwide Experts Meeting in Seoul. He invented the M.A.S.H. and M.A.L.T. thread-lifting techniques, is a published author, and has trained practitioners globally for leading aesthetic organisations.​

Alongside his clinical career, Dr Mian has served as Chairman of the Local Dental Committee; Director and Chairman of the Federation of Local Dental Committees; Member of the NHS Appeals Tribunal; Editor of the Bulletin for Dentists; Council Member of the General Dental Practitioners Association (UK); and member of the British Dental Association, British Medical Association, C.O.D.E. Facial Aesthetics Association, Association UKPDO and the European Medical Society for the Use of Ozone Therapy. Today, he is Principal Medical Aesthetics Practitioner at Chinbrook Medical & Cosmetic Centre and Harley Street; Medical Director; Visiting Medical Aesthetics Practitioner; international trainer; and continues supporting charitable work through St John's Ambulance and the Royal Warwickshire Fusiliers Army Cadet Force.
